General planning tool
Threads of Comfort is an offline educational and organizational aid for adult volunteer preparation. Use is voluntary and at the user's own discretion. Current organization, receiving-facility, venue, safeguarding, and equipment instructions always take precedence.
Product scope
Use current approved patterns, technical and equipment instructions, organization procedures, and qualified medical, grief-support, counseling, emergency, legal, and tax services for decisions outside this general planning workspace.
User responsibilities
Users remain responsible for capable adult supervision, suitable materials and tools, manufacturer guidance, clean workspaces, sharps and small-parts control, current permissions, privacy, transport, respectful communication, and requesting qualified assistance when needed.
No sensitive records
Do not enter donor identity, family or infant identity, pregnancy or loss history, diagnoses, hospital records, photographs, payment data, private stories, or urgent information. Anonymous app fields are intentionally limited.
Current operational information
Confirm donations, receipts, inventory, volunteer assignments, schedules, reservations, facility participation and access, inspection, fulfillment, and acceptance directly through the appropriate current organization process.
External actions
Email and share buttons open another user-selected app. The user chooses content, recipient, and timing and is responsible for reviewing information before transmission. External providers operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
Availability and changes
Features, content, and these terms may change in future versions. Device failure, uninstalling, clearing storage, or using erase controls may permanently remove local entries. No cloud recovery is provided.
